PROJECT PSX NTSC-US was a project to organize torrent sets for every PSX game released in the United States. The project is complete, however issues arose with certain ROMs, so a second version of the project, PROJECT PSX NTSC-US-V2, was created to smooth out these issues. In addition, a verified fullset is being compiled as the Redump.org Project.

Original 'motivational' spiel from this page
Okay, you may or may not remember the Complete Playstation Game List Thread that was posted in this forum a while back, so let me go ahead and explain the origin of my ideas. Somebody originally requested a listing of all of the games ever released for the Playstation game console. I complied with this request and posted a list of approximately 9,307 titles including all regions, NTSC, PAL, and demos. A bunch of people in this thread got to talking about whether or not a complete Playstation collection upload would be possible and if so, how much space it would take to do it. I dismissed this idea as madness at first but upon further examination I realized that it would be possible, it would just take a different method than usual to accomplish.
What we know is that there were at least 9307 Playstation titles released for the console and we know what they are by region codes, thanks to the list. This is obviously too large an amount of games to try to upload at the same time in a collection, the result would be in the terabytes and the person seeding it would probably never be able to get the whole thing uploaded. I then considered uploading the collection in two or three parts, but even then it would be far too large for any one person to seed in a fair way, so I then thought, why not do it in twenty seven releases and for only one region at a time, this turned a seemingly impossible task into something that could be done, but I realized it would still be very, very hard for any one person to seed 1,692 games.
So I then thought, why not get help? This is obviously too large of a project for any one person to complete by themselves and a community of game enthusiasts such as UG is the perfect place for such a project. I believe, that if we each take a letter or two (some are smaller than others), we could get this done with relative ease. The advantages to this are plenty and disadvantages are few. For one thing, almost all of the NTSC-US releases are easily available and not rare. Sure, there will be a few rare titles, such as the demo discs and interactive CDs, but I still believe it to be possible with all the man (and woman) power we have here at UG.
I have for that reason taken the liberty of compiling a list of all the NTSC-US Playstation games, categorized by the letter. It is available here, if you are interested in participating in the project. The smallest letters are Q & Z at 3 and 6 titles each, the largest being S at 159 Titles. If you have any comments, suggestions or ideas, feel free to post them below so we can work out the best way of completing this immense task. I figure if we can get enough people to help out, it is very possible indeed.
