I'm back from my disconnect time. New quotes have been approved. Writing something that will let people kill off a few bad quotes without abuse. Also, you will soon be able to optionally specify the channel a quote came from.
2000-05-30
OK, the user moderation thing just didn't work out. A few people went on a quote-killing rampage. It will be taken down until further notice, but it is coming back with more abuse protection.
2000-05-28
After a brief outage, the Quote Database is back online. Quotes can now be moved back to the queue by anyone browsing the site. If you don't like a quote, click the Kill link next to the quote and it will be removed from public view. The limit is one quote per host per minute.
