The 404 or Not Found error message is an HTTP
standard response code indicating that the
client was able to communicate with the
server

@metroproper
Actually, a 404 doesn't indicate that you
can't communicate with a webserver; It means
that the document requested by the client
does not exist: "Not Found".

I understand what a 404 error is, I'm just
not feelin the funny here.
Then again, it was taken by someone who
uses a Nikon. I find that funny.

I missed the "404 error message"
altogether, what I saw initially were fans; a
bunch of unhappy fans that had nothing to
"Yahoo!" or cheer about because
their team was obviously not winning. Perhaps
the guy that's leaving has had enough?

This is fake. Provably photoshopped.
Consider: www.flickr.com/photos/8067131@N05/481666258/
Look at the perspective lines. In order to
match the bottom perspective on both of the
4's, it has to cut through the bottom of the
0.
Even then, they do not quite match up with
the perspective of the backboards.
You can replicate this on the original
photo.

I beg to differ brianatx.. (btw, where are
YOUR pictures?)
Consider : www.flickr.com/photos/kaz/124477481/in/set-72
157594316295...
Also consider the EXIF data (if you know
what that is....)
If it had been modified in photoshop or
something, then the software info in the EXIF
data would read the software's name. In this
case, this photo has not been modified.
But thanks anyway Columbo, that's 15
mintues you won't be getting back...

Actually, brianatx, it's just good
typography. Curved letters and numbers should
always sit slightly below the baseline of
their straight counterparts, in order to be
optically aligned. You'll notice that even a
program as unsophisticated as Microsoft Word
does this automatically.

You should totally submit this to the Consumerist flickr pool.

Very well, I retract. I'll update my
listing.
I do have a couple of comments:
1) A piece of data in a file is just a
piece of data. Are you telling me, Dunbone,
that if Photoshop can alter EXIF data that
another program can't?
2) Zoomed out photos aren't helpful. So
offering that as evidence isn't helpful
either.
I did see a second photo in this collection
that had it, though I haven't seen another
photo from a secondary source that shows it.
